Red Huskies is excited to announce a training day with Bob Boyles on Sunday July 19th at the Fire Museum of Maryland. Sessions will run similar to the past couple training days Red Huskies has hosted with two concurrent instructor led small groups over the course of the day. This is a great opportunity to assess your team’s current nose work performance and work with Bob and Jen to identify areas of focus and development goals as we ease back into training and trialing. Sign up will be posted tonight. There will be blocks of 2 hour sessions for 2 people at a time for $125. Teams of 2 will spend one hour with Bob or Jen and then swap instructors for the second hour. This allows each team to run and also watch another team run the same exercises (and/or give their team enough downtime to relax/potty between searches/instructors). If there are any teams that would prefer the expedited single hour setup at the same price (running through all searches with both instructors within the hour – not watching someone or someone watching you), we can make a couple sessions on the signup for that as well, provided I can also get another team to do the same and run concurrently during your session. And although it’s not required, this is a great opportunity if you’d like to ask a friend to sign up for a session together! Physical distance of 6′ must be maintained at all times and masks are MANDATORY inside at ALL TIMES. Most of the searches are inside with AC to keep your team cool in the heat of July. There will be no other events – this is a private rental of the building. We will have the large main hall with antique fire trucks/equipment/displays, the exhibition show room, the children’s discovery room, and outside picnic/patio area. Red Huskies will gauge if the event is likely to fill by Sunday night. If so, we will proceed. If not, we will reschedule for a later date. Questions? We hope to see you out!
