Mount St. Mary's University

Red Huskies is excited to host Bob Boyles/Art of Odor for a day of sniffing fun at Mount Saint Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, MD  Bob has designed a variety of unique, real-world detection based scenario searches that will be both fun and challenging.  Best part of all, this is a stress-free, no title on the line, FUN outing with your canine partner.  Co-judging this event is professional detection handler and nose work judge, Brian Fleig.  There are no pre-requirements to participate.  This event is geared to teams at the intermediate-advanced level.  However, any participating team may enter FEO or ask for as much assistance as they would like when searching.

Participants will have a short walk either from their cars or the air conditioned indoor crating area. Participants may need to use stairwells getting to/from search areas (there is an elevator on site that could potentially be used).  Searches may have multiple hides, may include all three target odors, and could include stairs in the search area.  Volunteers are needed both days to help make the event run smoothly.  If you would like to volunteer or have additional questions about the event, please email

$135 per team.  Check-in 8:30AM at Knott Auditorium.

Cancellation policy: a full refund will be given if your spot is filled with someone on the waitlist, or if no waitlist, you can find someone to take your spot.

If the event fills, a waitlist will be added.  If registering for the waitlist, you still need to select a payment method, but will not be charged.  The email confirmation is the same as you would receive if you registered for a non-waitlist spot.  So if it indicates payment information, you can ignore that.  If you get off the waitlist you will be notified via email further instructions on paying.  Thank you.

(Registration is limited to 25 teams per day and spots will be given on a first come, first served basis. Once the day is full a waitlist  option will be added.)

Registration is closed for this event.
